Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken

Love this one but Drew isn't a fan. I leave out the parmesan (Oliver) and it still tastes great!

2 T olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 skinless boneless chicken breast cut into 1” cubes
12 oz angel hair pasta (wheat if you can find it)
2/3 c chicken broth
1 tsp dried basil
1 carrot, sliced into ¼” pieces
¼ c grated parmesan
1-10 oz pkg frozen broccoli, thawed
Heat 1 T oil in a medium skillet over medium heat; add chicken. Cook stirring until chicken is cooked through. Remove from skillet and drain. Heat remaining oil in same skillet. Begin heating water for pasta. Add carrots to skillet; cook, stirring, for 4 minutes. Add broccoli and garlic to skillet; cook, stirring for 2 minutes longer. Cook pasta. While pasta is cooking, add chicken broth, basil, and parmesan to skillet. Stir to combine. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes. Drain pasta and top with chicken and vegetable mix.
